TESTIMONIAL – WETHERAL BROWNIES ↓

Youth and School Group Activities Cumbria“We did a full days sailing and treasure hunt adventure at Glenridding Sailing Centre. The 20 Brownies plus their leaders were instructed in 6 boats to navigate Lake Ullswater and discover the treasure that Capt Flint had hidden. The weather was a little challenging but it did not spoil the fun, with choppy waters adding to the excitement. Dens were made to keep the crews dry at lunchtime and spades were wielded to dig up the treasure box once located by means of navigation and semaphore signalling. The highlight of the day was the battle with Capt Flint where one of our pirates was lost over board briefly before Capt Flint was captured and made to walk the plank!” – Wetheral Brownies
